About Us
We believe every child is entitled to the best education possible.
Mishlove Educational Advocates was founded by Julia Mishlove. As a former special education teacher, Julia experienced the limitations placed on educators by schools and school districts. She started Mishlove Educational Advocates to help make the difference she wanted to see in schools when she was teaching. Families, schools, and educators all want to do what is best for kids. However, sometimes disagreements happen or special education plans don't meet their needs.
Mishlove Educational Advocates is here to assist and empower parents & families to stand up for what is best for their children. You are the expert on your own child. An advocate can help you become an expert on how to be heard by your child's school, and navigate the special education or 504 process for your child.
